LEAD - VALET ATTENDANT

Overview:POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for safely handling guests’ and patrons’ vehicles to ensure proper parking, securing, and handling of keys.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
Display positive and professional attitude and presentation at all times when communicating with guest.- Must be flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays with the understanding days off will fluctuate.
- Responsible for the staging of guest vehicle.
- Responsible for parking guest vehicle in the parking garage.
- Responsible for retrieval of vehicles in a timely manner.
- Assists the Valet Supervisor and ensures that breaks and rotations are being followed as scheduled.

Attend seminars when neededQualifications:EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
High School diploma or equivalent required. The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training or related experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
- Good driver’s record within the last 48 months and cannot have more than 3 points on record.
- Must provide a current driving record.
- Must be tolerant of moderate to severe weather conditions.
KNOWLEDGE OF:- Excellent customer service skills.
ABILITY TO:
Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.- Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
- Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
- Drive and handle cars of all makes and models, and all types (ie. Automatic, manual, etc.).
- Must be able to address stressful situation with guests with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
- Must be able to walk/run 90% of shift and stand 10% of shift.
- Must be tolerant of running, stooping, and bending for long periods of time
