Position Summary
Works under the supervision of the ERA (Emergency Rental Assistance) Program Manager to develop and analyze quarterly and monthly ERA Treasury reports and other supporting documentation as it relates to the program.
Pay Grade: 50 Minimum Qualifications
100.00% - 1. Five (5) years of work experience in community outreach, multicultural or related programs; and a high school diploma or GED; OR
2. Three (3) years of work experience in community outreach, multicultural or related programs; and two (2) years of college study (60 semester hours or 72 quarters) in sociology, psychology, social work, or closely related field; OR
3. One (1) year of work experience in community outreach, multicultural or related programs; and bachelor"s degree from an accredited college or university in sociology, psychology, social work, or closely related field.
4. Experience working with Treasury guidelines preferred.
5. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manages day to day support of Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) application database.
2. Develops detailed reports regarding inquiries that come through the ERA Help line and identify trends and recommendations for improvement.
3. Prepares quarterly and monthly federal ERA reports.
4. Attends various meetings to gather and/or present data.
5. Performs other related duties as required or directed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
KSAs - 1. Working knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration.
2. Thorough knowledge of the programs assigned to the department/section.
3. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs.
4. Ability to analyze programs and compile reports.
5. Ability to issue effective oral and written instructions.
6. Ability to work with the public and with other departments of Shelby County Government.
7. Ability to conduct meetings as required. Special Requirements
