Business Analysts provide support to the Commercial Consulting Talent Team in the delivery of strategic services to the Business. They will also support the Talent organization during peak times to deliver key analysis and support for talent lifecycle process.

Work you'll do

Business Analysts drive data collection efforts, provide in-depth reporting, and deliver statistical analysis to provide solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic priorities for the Commercial Consulting team.

  • Supports the Talent Business Analyst (TBA) team while partnering with center of excellence and Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver all talent lifecycle events including, but not limited to, performance management, compensation planning, workforce planning, and other talent programs.
  • Supports the TBA Team by managing the analysis and evaluation of data related to Talent processes and programs to inform and drive business decisions
  • Proactively delivers value added metrics using appropriate tools that can be translated into insights for TBAs and business (Via PPT & Excel)
  • Proactively synthesizes data in a meaningful way; creates reports (Excel) and develops Executive Summaries (PowerPoints) to present clear and concise data insights to business leaders
  • Closely analyzes and monitors Talent data related to compensation, attrition trends, headcount, performance management, etc., to aid in greater forecasting and prioritization of short- and long-term Talent trends/objectives
  • Analyzes historical Talent data to build action plans and support Talent strategy development
  • Oversees and leads efforts on key reporting and ensures consistent delivery of recommendations to TBAs
  • Proactively updates, validates, and evaluates data to ensure accurate reporting while identifying ways to improve efficiencies related to data collection and reporting
  • Manages requests such as transfers, coach/OBA assignments, data reconciliation, and reporting (both standard and ad hoc)
  • Collaborates with Business Analyst counterparts to maximize efficiencies and achieve set goals

The team

The Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team" through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver integrated Talent services to support Business strategies and priorities.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of business or Human Resources related experience
  • Undergraduate degree required (4 year)
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical capabilities: candidates who are energized by quantitative tasks and responsibilities will thrive in this position
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Excel - effectively run reports, write, and validate formulas and calculations, create tables and graphs, link information, create pivot tables, manage multiple sources of data, and ensure data accuracy
    • PowerPoint - effectively "tell the story" with supporting data, create/import tables, graphs, and create decks/executive summaries for leadership review
  • Creative thinker with strong teaming and collaboration skills
  • Flexible, team player who will flourish in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills
  • High levels of discretion in handling confidential information
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $71,425 to $131,545.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
