Job summary
Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload (AF LTL) Linehaul is seeking a Lead Specialist to create and lead our Shipper Support team, delivering an improved shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Amazon Inbound Transportation.

As Amazon continues to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, we need to evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvement through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role the candidate will be the lead a team of associates that create and drive recommendations and actions to shippers who fail to improve their performance.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop team SOPs responsible for monitoring and improving shipper performance with Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload.
  • Partner with stakeholder teams to work on collaborative solutions to improve AF LTL Shipper Experience.
  • Determine root cause of operational challenges of our shippers, and present findings and recommendations to business partners.
About the team
In this role, you will be on the Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload (AF LTL) Operations Integration team. AF LTL is a rapidly growing transportation start-up within Amazon. Our vision is to build a profitable, commercial LTL service that drives the Amazon flywheel and delights shippers with the most reliable, convenient, transparent and competitively priced service in the industry.

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or related field
  • 2+ years work experience in logistics, transportation industry, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
  • Expertise in MS Access and SQL
  • Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data
  • Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.
