JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Lead Business Intelligence Analyst is part of the Data & Analytics organization and reports to the Director of Business Intelligence. This experienced professional has had many past experiences building analytical solutions through BI tools such as Tableau and Alteryx and they are considered an expert by their peers. They work independently, possess strong communication skills, and business experiences. The lead developer will craft interactive dashboards and reports that depict business performance and highlight future opportunities.   • Independently collaborates with senior executives to understand complex business challenges and opportunities and develops data solutions that meet the business intelligence or insights needs.
  • Creates complex yet concise dashboards that are quickly deployed to users in a manner that is easily repeatable while delivering fast, clear and flexible outputs.
  • Analyzes data, forming conclusions and recommendations, producing insights that will help shape effective strategies to achieve business outcomes.
  • Prepares and presents findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and management to influence business to take action.
  • Identifies critical data sources necessary to achieve desired business outcomes and collaborates with others across the organization to integrate data into a consistent and usable format.
  • Collaborates with business leaders and key stakeholders to identify metrics and KPI’s that highlight business outcomes.
  • Drives adoption of dashboards by providing consultation and training for end users.
  • Provides innovative ideas and creates best practices for designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Identifies & resolves data quality issues discovered during the business intelligence and insights process.
  • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of BI processes and partners with internal stakeholders on the data platform.
  • Oversees the reporting solutions, access/user groups, and ensuring the data is accurate and reliable
  • Provides mentoring and training to other team members to aid in their individual development to help improve overall team performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical area such as MIS, Finance, or Business Analytics and 8+ years of experience in reporting, analytics or business insights or a master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business insights
  • Expert in Tableau desktop or Alteryx or similar data blending tool

  • Expert level of understanding multiple data environments and the ability to interface with them using the appropriate tools
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to various levels of management
  • Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Able to engage in consultative manner with management and other analysts when helping solve/manage content deliverables
  • Able to work in ambiguous situations and respond flexibly to changing circumstances, priorities, and time constraints
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others
