Job Summary:

As a Law Clerk, you will work in all facets of estate planning with an emphasis on estate plan design and funding. Additionally, you will take a lead role in the funding process.

Essential Job Functions for the Law Clerk will include:

• Preparing deeds, assignments, and other documents, as well as working with county recorders to ensure deeds are properly filed
• Drafting estate planning documents and preparing reviews of existing estate plans
• Preparing and filing entity formation documents
• Preparing estate planning binders for delivery, as needed
• Maintaining client files
• Other duties as needed

• Bar License in at least one state or scheduled to take a bar exam
• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills
• Excellent organization, time management, proofreading, and word processing skills are essential
• Current ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred
• Experience with drafting estate planning documents is a plus
• Knowledge of WealthDocs is a plus

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD)

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Working Conditions:

Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation, no heavy lifting over 25 lbs.

Salary:

Employee will be eligible for annual bonus compensation programs.
