GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Supports Technicians for installation of communications and equipment on military and commercial ground, water, and aviation platforms. Performs supporting duties to achieve Technician Level I entry level status.
DUTIES
- Assist Senior Tech with mechanical/harness fabrication and installation onto various platforms
- Support Senior Tech with continuity and power checks
- Train to test equipment to validate system operation and checkout
- Train to read, understand and work from engineering drawings.
- Assist Senior Technicians in pulling Trial, Kit Proof, and Production Kits
- Train to fabricate electrical/mechanical harnesses and other electrical/mechanical assemblies for instillation kits
- Support Senior Technicians and Integration Specialist as required
- Train to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc
- Assist with loading/unloading of incoming/outgoing shipments
- Train to operate a fork lift
- Other Duties as Assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS
- High School diploma or graduate equivalent
