Kennel Assistant - Weekends PM
Weekend Openings at Bucks County Kennel!
Shifts: (PM shift) 2:00pm - 8:30pm Weekend Schedule: Saturday and Sunday. Work every weekend OR every other weekend.
Duties may include: - Kennel assistant provide daily care for boarded dogs and assist with kennel maintenance.
- Transporting animals to and from the kennels.
- Ensuring that the animals have ample, fresh food and water at all times.
- Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from the kennels.
- Disposing of trash in a timely manner.
- Grooming, playing with and administering treatment to animals under the auspices of the Veterinarian.
- Accompanying animals on walks, if required.
- Calming animals who are in distress.
Requirement: - Must be able to lift 30 pounds, take direction, detail-oriented, punctual, and LOVE dogs!
- Duties include but are not limited to: Feed dogs - Walk dogs - Monitor Day Care rooms - Cleaning.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience in dog daycare and/or kennel is a plus.
Include your experience with dogs.
