The role

MAJORITY is looking for a Junior Risk Analyst, to join its risk team in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor existing transactions performance for loss/risk exposure.
  • Provide analysis and reporting.
  • Review and monitor current claim and collection results for trends while focusing on reducing the claim rate.
  • Proactively identify fraud and AML by utilizing the internal security monitoring system to effectively analyze transaction activity.
  • Manage and escalates alerts when required.
  • Provide quality customer service and subject matter expertise to all internal departments, third party partners and sales organization.
  • Investigate cases as needed.
  • Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least two years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proven track record in risk management within the financial transaction industry.
  • Ability to work in team effectively and creating strong relationships.
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
  • Need to be qualified to work in the US.
