Job Description
As a member of the Commerce Practice, the Project Manager will help steward in-bound cross sell and upsell revenue opportunities that originate from either business development or through PM agency partners. This role will centralize and scale a support model for pitches that will ultimately drive topline impact for other parts of the Publicis Media (PM) and Publicis Groupe business. This role will also work collaboratively with the PM Communications and PM Partnerships team on developing Commerce thought leadership, events, trainings and workshops. This position will report to the Commerce Strategy lead with oversight from the Practice Lead.
Role Objectives:
- Collaborate with Publicis Media business development colleagues in each of our agency brands by providing Commerce media credentials/POV for both organic and new business opportunities (examples include competitive pulls, commerce landscape assessment, and RFI content)
- Support other Groupe solution hubs on business development opportunities that could benefit from commerce media and experience expertise; this could include target analysis and competitive pulls, as well as brainstorming sessions and potentially representing in pitch meeting
- Partner with Commerce Strategy, Retail Media, and Marketplace colleagues to package turnkey commerce solutions
- Help manage US commerce content needs in partnership with Global Commerce New Business and PM Communications
- Support US pitches and priority organic growth opportunities, including RFI/RFP content, collateral, and on-the-ground pitch meeting coordination
- Light/infrequent travel may be required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shopper marketing, media planning, and/or strategy experience
- Strong cross-media planning background; digital planning capability, including retail or Amazon, is highly desired
- Past experience working on a pitch team is a plus, however prior experience working in a business development function is not required
- Expert use of industry tools, and ability to learn and utilize Publicis Groupe proprietary tools
- High cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Comfortable navigating up, across, and diagonally; capable of voicing a strong POV with senior audiences
- Excellent project-management skills; able to manage multiple projects & people
- Skilled writer capable of drafting pitch-ready communication
- High versatility and agility to work on projects across industries, markets, and agencies
- Entrepreneurial spirit and high self-motivation
