Junior Capture Manager

Hunter Strategy is seeking a Junior Capture Manager to join our Growth Team and help grow our portfolio of Federal contracts. This role will report directly to the Hunter Strategy Chief Growth Officer. Responsibilities:
- Groom existing Hunter Strategy Opportunity Pipeline
- Peruse Agency and contract vehicle forecasts to identify potential opportunities
- Identify, track, and shape opportunities at least 6 months prior to solicitation release
- Attend scheduled and ad-hoc Pipeline, Leadership, and Staff Meetings
- Perform outreach duties to include communications with Federal Agency Small Business Offices, Program Offices, Industry Partners, Vendors, etc.
- Attend Industry Days, Small Business Events, and other on behalf of Hunter Strategy as needed
- Act as Ambassador for Hunter Strategy building new and strengthening existing relationships, partnerships, etc.
- Understand and be able to speak to Hunter Strategy’s capabilities and customer portfolio with ease and enthusiasm
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant Capture and/or Business Development experience with a Bachelor's Degree
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of the Federal Government space and Agencies such as DoD, DoS, GSA, HHS, DHS, etc.
- Strong understanding of Government Acquisition Lifecycle
- Experience managing complex capture efforts and diverse teams to win new business
- Demonstrated ability to represent and interact with customers on Hunter Strategy’s capabilities
- Ability to lead all aspects of capture and win strategy to include but not limited to selling, shaping, competitive intel, pricing, price to win, solution development, and teaming
- Capture Management Training (e.g., Shipley, Miller Heiman, etc.)
- Knowledge of major contract vehicles (e.g., MAS, STARS III, CIO-SP4, Polaris, etc.)
- Knowledge of contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, etc.)
- Outstanding verbal, writing, and inter-personal skills needed to communicate effectively and persuasively with personnel at all levels, both in customer spaces and within Hunter Strategy
- Self-starter with ability to work alone as well as within the confines of a team
- Strong organizational skills
Brownie Points:
- Existing relationships with personnel at Government Agencies, Mission Partners, Vendors, Industry Partners, etc.
- Background in data analytics and/or data mining
- Experience using Salesforce and SharePoint

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
