Sisley Americas Services is seeking a full time creative, collaborative, and results-oriented Junior Store Designer and Visual Merchandiser for the Americas, to join our Miami-Midtown office (Beauty Retail experience is a plus). This position entails involvement in all phases of the design process – from Concept through Construction Administration. All candidates should possess strong technical and communication abilities to function at the highest level in a creative work environment. Experience with Revit Architecture 2020 or Higher is highly desirable. The ideal candidate has previous experience working as part of a team of designers and working directly with all relevant consultants.
The Role and Responsibilities are divided into 2 categories:
STORE DESIGN & VISUAL MERCHANDISING (MAIN ROLE):
Responsibilities will include:
Store Design (USA/CAN, Mexico, Brazil, LATAM, TR and Caribbean)
- Work closely with Regional Store Design Director supporting design and technical tasks in accordance with the brand guidelines;
- Create coordinated architecture packages, revise shop drawings and renderings;
- Coordinate with Vendors, suppliers, installers, etc. during all phases of the projects;
- Serve as Project Manager on some projects, and work with team on other projects as needed;
- Maintain notes and photos from job site visits and create follow-up reports;
- Ensure the highest level of brand design standards are maintained.
Visual Merchandising (LATAM, TR and Caribbean)
- Adapt and maintain global merchandising guidelines to the Regional environment;
- Create master guide planograms to aid the regional teams in the execution of the VM Guidelines;
- Track updates of the markets and generate monthly reports on the status of implementation;
- Ensure the highest level of brand visibility standards are maintained;
- Develop/ support Global Merchandising tools forecasts.
MARKETING & PR (SUPPORTING ROLE):
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist the marketing team with the creation of invitations, brochures and various promotional materials, as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field
- 1+ years of experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Oral and written)
- Specific expertise in Revit Architecture is highly desirable, but were willing to train the right candudate.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software in an architectural setting is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Superb organizational and communication skills
- Easy-going, but proactive with the ability to handle deadlines under pressure
- Strong conceptual, graphic and design or technical knowledge
- Immediate availability is preferred.
