Jr PC Technician - 2nd Shift Details

In this position, you will support the enterprise users and computers with all tier 1 technical issues. You will install and maintain PC Desktop hardware and printers. You will have involvement in special projects. You will work on and resolve end user support tickets.

HOURS: Wednesday - Saturday 10:30am - 9pm, potential for off hour support

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PC preparation, installation and maintenance
  • Printer installation and configuration
  • PC and printer hardware repair
  • OS and application installation and configuration
  • Maintain necessary inventory of spare parts
  • Perform software and hardware audits
  • PC Network configuration
  • Provide excellent customer service and troubleshooting

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associates Degree in Electronics or Computer Technology or equivalent experience. 1-2 years enterprise desktop support.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED:

  • Ability to solve complex problems

  • Detailed knowledge of PC hardware

  • Detailed knowledge of current Windows operating systems

  • Basic understanding of networking

  • Ability to assist users possessing limited technical skills

  • Ability to competently fulfill user phone, email and in person support.

  • Ability to work alternate shifts due to project demands or other team needs
