Position Overview:

The Junior Encompass Administrator is a key player within the Team having the primary interaction with our end users and ownership of key Encompass settings. Managing and responding to cases within CCM's Support Portal requires the Junior Administrator to gain an understanding of Encompass settings and business process flow. The Junior Administrator will also make updates to input forms or settings to deliver results all while ensuring settings updates are accurate and documented.

Job Responsibilities:

Encompass Updates

  • Create and maintain License settings, Closing Costs Templates, Branch Setups and Persona/User Group setups in Encompass.
  • Work on updates to Encompass settings and business rules as assigned or based on Support Case tickets.
  • Employ problem solving abilities to understand, interpret, troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to system functionality.
  • Complete QA Testing.
  • Ensure updates made do not adversely affect the system.

Encompass Adoption

  • Gain knowledge and comprehension of the Encompass system and CCM’s integrations.
  • Gain knowledge and comprehension of CCM’s business workflow within the Encompass system.
  • Assist in Training Material creation and updates.

Standards & Documentation Management

  • Update the Encompass Settings Library following a set protocol for system updates you complete in Encompass.
  • Adhere to Branding Standards with Custom Input Form and Custom Print Form Updates.
  • Adhere to internal team processes.

Communication & Interaction

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate across businesses and teams and end users.

Functional Area: Originating Platform Support Pillar

Support Case & Management

  • Respond to support cases assigned to or escalated to the Encompass Team within CCM's Support Portal.
  • Coordinate with Ellie Mae’s tech support in addressing support cases opened directly with Ellie Mae.
  • Ensure timely error resolution of support ticket requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical

  • Ellie Mae Encompass Administration experience (1-3 years)
  • Experience working in support portal systems (1+ years preferred)
  • Understanding Mavent Compliance Report (1-3 years preferred)

Mortgage

  • Mortgage industry experience (1+ years)

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills required, including maintaining positive relationships with system stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team environment.
