Job TitleJanitorial SupervisorJob Description SummaryThe position of janitorial Supervisor provides supervision and operational oversight for approximately 20 employees engaged in providing a full range of housekeeping services. A strong familiarity with standard cleaning products and their corresponding application is essential. Direct experience with a full range of hand surface maintenance and carpet care is desirable together with associated techniques, practices and procedures. Primary responsibility is for the use of proper methods, materials, and equipment in cleaning and keeping Rider buildings, grounds & equipment neat and sanitary. This job reports directly to the Account Manager.Job DescriptionResponsibilities/Tasks/Duties

• Supervises and coordinates the work activities of assigned areas throughout the campus
• Ability to create processes, procedures & policies
• Maintains/monitors work area reports on performance statistics, inventories, problem areas and related information.
• Establishes/maintains job performance standards.
• Monitors equipment/supply use inventories.
• Assures adequate safety compliance; maintains proper security procedures.
• Conducts ongoing quality assurance evaluations/checks of work areas.
• Makes recommendations for changes and improvements in work areas as needed.
• Participates in ongoing supervisory skill development as well as maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current technical practices used by C&W Services.
• Provides staff and administrative support to Account Manager as needed.
• Supervises, motivates, disciplines, and evaluates staff.
• Establishes/maintains job performance standards.
