Key member of an enterprise team providing administration, development and support for applications including Timekeeping, Intranet, Tooling, Data Integration, Asset Management, and Manufacturing Execution Systems, as well as SQL Server database platform.
This role is the link between the enterprise application and users from a technical and process perspective.
This is tier 3 level support that will be involved in application deployments and enhancements throughout the corporation.
The key candidate will have a mixture of strong analytical skills, communication skills, currency in modern database technologies and or manufacturing processes.

Performs systems analyses of unique and considerable scope and complexity that includes requirements definition, interfacing with users, and providing cost and benefit analyses. Prepares complex trade?off studies and benchmark analyses.
Develops and manages information technology project plans and schedules. Acts as consultant to management on major matters. May serve as project leader on assigned projects requiring advanced, specialized knowledge. Establishes goals, objectives, and timelines required to complete projects; explains work methods, and ensures project assignment completeness, timeliness, and accuracy. Estimates, develops, and manages project budgets and cost/performance analyses.
Confers with program and/or system users to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and evaluate specific input and output requirements.
Develop or modify highly complex computer programs by writing detailed description of user needs, program functions, and processing steps required.
Determines if requested program change is possible within existing system by reviewing computer system capabilities, processes, workflow, and implementation schedule. Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses. Analyzes proposed changes in methods and materials.
Analyzes, develops, plans, codes or installs software, tests, documents, and implements complex business applications required to develop or maintain systems. Prepares process documentation to specify, in detail, operations to be performed by computer systems. Upgrades and maintains systems after implementation.
Interfaces with information technology staff throughout the aerospace group to coordinate project development, changes, or implementation. Communicates with external customers and suppliers to resolve technical and business issues.
Applies and may lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency of internal systems and processes within the division and/or with corporate and customer involvement.
Prepares project status reports to inform management of project progress and resource requirements. Identifies any issues that need to be elevated to management for resolution or assistance.
Oversees development of training modules and trains users for effective implementation and use of new systems. Prepares and gives technical presentations.
Leads new technology evaluation related to operating systems, hardware, software packages, development tools, and methodologies. Identifies alternative or new technologies and implements them as Information Technology standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical professional publications, establishing industry networks, and/or participating in professional associations.
Complies with federal and state legal requirements (e.g. software licensing, confidentiality of employee records); ensures adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions. Researches existing and new legislation and proposes policy changes.
Assesses skills and identifies training needs. May serve as functional expert. Trains and mentors less experienced employees. May provide leadership to others in department or to ad?hoc teams.
Shares specialized knowledge with others. Represents Company on specific projects. Prepares and conducts technical presentations on selected topics. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross?functional or project team responsibilities (e.g., continuous improvement).

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years increasingly responsible related application/infrastructure experience utilizing the company's standard toolsets.
Specific assignment may require recognized certification in area of expertise.
Experience in relational database design and development.
Logical analysis of simple to complex SQL queries.
Experience working with multi-tiered business applications in a global environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, finance, and general business practices.
Specific assignment may require recognized certification in area of expertise.
Specific area of assignment may require knowledge in specific or multiple products and tools such as: technical knowledge of software and hardware selection implementation and testing methodology, client/server application development, architecture, database?connectivity and database design methodology; and, advanced, specialized knowledge of manufacturing and support organizations, business and workflow process, and quality methods.

Also expected of the employee is regular attendance, the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others and members of the public, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Overnight, long distance (including international) travel may be required, based on the individual needs of the position. This position may require working nights and weekends. The employee is occasionally required to move or carry computer equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
