Responsibilities:


  • Work directly with Project Management, Technical Leadership, Functional and Business resources to provide Project Quality and Testing Services.
  • Focus on successful implementation of projects, meeting or exceeding the customers’ expectations. Types of projects include ERP applications, Cloud, SAAS/Packaged software, custom software, IT services/processes, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee and maintain the IT Project Quality Testing Center of Excellence
  • Facilitate the SDLC process and drive quality for assigned projects.
  • Lead, organize and coordinate all testing efforts on assigned projects including any necessary meetings, testing strategy and defect management.
  • Facilitate and provide guidance to project and business resources for test script development. • Responsible for reporting on quality and testing status for the duration of the project.
  • Responsible for defect management and coordination by collaborating with the right teams to analyze defects to determine root cause and the appropriate path to resolution.
  • Provide training, coaching, and consulting on the Corning SDLC quality process as a subject matter expert to the Project manager and project team members.
  • Lead and facilitate quality inspections of key project documentation and artifacts.
  • Facilitate performance testing discovery sessions for assigned projects to determine any performance testing requirements.
  • Manage any impact of Project changes to testing schedule and process.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple groups, including vendor partners, functional teams, technical teams, business representatives and IT leadership
  • Communicate project testing issues in a timely manner to Project Manager and Team supervisor and escalate through the appropriate channels if necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality team, Business Analysts, Service Line Personnel and Project Services group to improve upon existing Testing and Quality Processes.
  • Perform administrative support for Micro focus Quality Center 15.5 or newer
  • Responsible for Training project personnel in use of Quality Center and testing/defect tracking process
  • Responsible for training new Project Managers, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts and other IT roles on the SDLC process.
  • Work as a member of the IT Project Quality Assurance team to continually improve process, drive cost reduction activities and build overall domain knowledge.

  • Quality Management application experience - Micro Focus Quality Center knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and other associated Agile tools
  • Knowledge and experience applying automated testing tools and processes.

  • Knowledge of business process mapping and documentation of business requirements, systems design, and technical standards.
  • SAP Cloud Applications (Success Factors/S4 Hana) knowledge/experience.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management tool
  • Automated testing experience
  • Performance testing experience using Load Runner Cloud.
  • Create and maintain performance test scripts using VuGen.
  • Administrative ownership of performance test load generator servers

Education/Experience:


  • BS in Computer Science or Equivalent with 3+ years PM or Technical Leadership experience desired
  • Associates degree with 5+ PM or Technical Leadership experience
