Position description

The Enterprise Interface Unit is seeking a skilled and motivated IIB Developer/Senior Analyst Programmer to work within our Information Technology department. The core responsibilities will be designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces and data delivery services and the design and development of messaging solutions. Defining and improving development standards and processes for data delivery activities. Serving as a technical and/or project leader on some efforts. Working closely with other teams within the organization to identify opportunities and provide solutions through the expanding shared service. This position will provide development services using various interface development tools. We will not sponsor or transfer a visa.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience; Or, Associate's degree and 7 years' experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience.

Additional qualifications

Previous experience with HL7 and interface development using IIB (IBM Integration Bus) or Message Broker are required.

Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies. Demonstrated ability to multi-task among multiple complex assigned tasks/projects. Evidence of strong communication, meeting management, and organizational skills and ability to adjust the message as appropriate to the audiences of varying technical capabilities. Evidence of project management skills. Possesses an objective and positive attitude with all tasks and projects. Possesses a high level of project and deliverable consistency through demonstrated repeatable and reliable performance. Evidence of ability to take initiative and proactive on starting tasks and assignments and ability to work independently. Experience working in healthcare technology. Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications. Masters degree in applicable field preferred.

Compensation Detail

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,035 based on a full-time position.

This vacancy may be open to full time telework candidates within the U.S./ reasonable travel to a Mayo facility if ever a business need/ meeting or client-facing. Mayo Clinic has facilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida.
