ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Follows well defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP's & work instructions. Takes direction from Site Supervisors (and Team Lead) regarding daily duties.* Independently makes decisions and utilizes available resources to meet customer requirements.* Analyzes/maintains/reconciles various customer and Fisher reports to ensure customer and Fisher requirements are met.* Communicates with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.* Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and enhancements without the presence of site trainer and management team.* Listens to customer concerns, effectively diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times.* Works effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.* Utilizes systems or performs the functions that support various inventory and chemical management programs.* Accesses & utilizes *** Scientifics' Intranet and SharePoint document management system.* Makes on-site program replenishments and disbursements. Performs stockroom duties to include: inventory counts, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.* Removes cardboard and trash as needed (Detrashing).* Delivers direct shipment orders to end users/ performs deliveries as required.* Positively represents *** Scientific at all times throughout customer locations.* Performs other duties as assigned by management. Job Description:
Independently performs, verifies, and provides feedback on complex and varied chemical and solvent management services (registration, barcoding, inventory scanning, delivery, pick-up, and tracking of hazardous materials) for a varied client base.
Duties include:

* Reviewing, creating, and maintaining of company data log sheets
* Follows well defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOPs & work instructions. Take direction from Site Supervisor/Manager regarding daily duties
* Communicates with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems
* Dispose scan hazardous waste
* Delivery of chemicals within a laboratory environment
* Sustaining and maintaining of solvent stockroom inventory
* Ordering and replenishment of solvents
* Assisting in registration of chemicals into a chemical database
* Performs daily cycle counting (inventory scanning) barcoded chemicals using handheld scanner in laboratory environments.
* Providing customer support to clients
* Works effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
* Performs other duties as assigned by management.

* Must be able to apply sound judgment and decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine issues

* Participate in projects and perform all other duties as assigned
* Must be able to maneuver a pallet jack, and able to consistently and independently lift 50+lbs

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must possess a High School Diploma and preferably an Associate's degree
* Must be able to read, write and speak English
* Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred; experience in GLP/GMP environment preferred
* Proactive approach to problem solving
* Adapt to flexible and changing schedule in short notice
* Ability to self-manage and operate independently
* Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment
* Computer/software skills. (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)

Working Conditions:

* Works primarily at customer locations, in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments
* Required to work independently at customer location
* Extensive walking may be required
* May pass through areas where chemical based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.)
* Must be able to lift, push and pull 50+ pounds consistently.
* May be able to use material handling equipment such as push carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
* Depending on area of building, personal protective equipment may be worn to include lab coats, coveralls, hood, facemask, hairnets and/or safety gloves
* Steel toe shoes, and safety glasses are required while performing chemical handling and delivery.
* Must be able to work hours required to get the job done

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 per hour
