Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time; M-F; 5am-2pm
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/Hour

General Summary:
Primary objective will be to ensure inventory control processes and quality control initiatives are accurately
followed and reported by using our database system. Conducts audits, physical inventory, data entry, and report generation.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate supply needs.
- Conduct cycle counts for procurement department as needed.
- Reconciling differences found in inventory
- Creating weekly summary of inventory adjustments
- Preparing and monitoring appropriate inventory reports
- Implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory management to assure that they are accurate.
- Coordinate and monitor a cycle count program.
- Coordinate the cycle count process, able to identify necessary recounts, process and provide regular reports on results.
- Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures
- Identify and correct discrepancies on items at the location level as needed.
- Reconcile all differences promptly to minimize impact to customer operations.
- Monitor all warehouse and product transfers and other transactions for accuracy.
Annual Audit
- Organize and lead physical annual inventory audit.
- Count all physical inventory according to Annual Audit deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy of Annual Audit inventory count for GAMA Warehouse.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of supply management and inventory control
- Able to recognize problems and propose solutions in regard to immediate responsibilities
- Can maintain confidentiality of information
- Can communicate effectively – orally and in writing
- Demonstrate an understanding of responsibilities and objectives of the company
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years supply chain management, inventory control, or related experience.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged walking and standing for continuous hours including, but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds
· Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
· Occasionally work more than 8 hours depending on workload
