We’re looking for an eager and ambitious marketing assistant community manager capable and open to executing existing and upcoming marketing campaigns. Our ideal candidate has experience in marketing or sales at a minimum, a strong interest in the field of sales, psychology, and marketing. This work will require strong communication skills to engage with client audiences and member networks while facilitating communication and sales for various teams.
This job will require on-the-job training for those with limited experience. You will work with experienced marketers to help build and nurture audiences. The candidate will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing communication, messaging, outreach to different audiences, and understanding long-term strategy while thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. Reports jointly to the CEO and the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Manages all assets of digital marketing for the personal and professional brand of the CEO. Works with the Director of Digital Marketing to ensure all artwork and assets are produced harmoniously with existing brand standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Takes direction from the Executive Assistant to the CEO for the production of needed marketing assets, including print and digital
- Manages the process of producing the CEO’s podcast series
- Manages the process of producing the CEO’s video interview series
- Manages the process of scheduling interviews with guests, in full cooperation with the Director of Digital Marketing and the Executive Assistant to the CEO
- Creates PowerPoint presentations using established templates
- Creates social media graphics within Canva using established templates
- When the assistance of the full Marketing Department is needed or warranted, places requests directly with the Director of Digital Marketing to ensure intelligent and responsible management of traffic flow
- Regularly reports goals and progress to the marketing SCRUM master in accordance with the SCRUM sprint schedule
Skillset & Tools Required
- 3+ years of in-house or agency digital marketing experience as a marketing coordinator, marketing assistant, account executive, and/or strategist
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with special attention given to PowerPoint
- Experience with designing in Canva in accordance with established brand standards and templates
- Email marketing software knowledge
- Successful completion of or agreement to complete HubSpot Digital Marketing Certification within two weeks of employment (training provided by company)
- Experience with digital project management software such as Trello, Asana, or similar
- Effective, clear, and accurate written English language skills
