Position Overview

As a Web Design Developer intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an enterprise-scale design system. You’ll join a team of experts from brand, UX, visual design, research, content strategy, engineering, web publishing, and product management, working to create cohesive online experiences for the Autodesk Digital Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Help us design and build experiences that are inclusive and accessible
  • Serve as an advocate for compliance to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Propose recommendations as to how Autodesk might improve design and code to better serve customers with disabilities
  • Identify opportunities to educate and evangelize for accessibility best practices for web

Minimum Qualifications

  • Students must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Student must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting academic institution or accredited boot camp at the time of internship.
  • Students must reside and attend university in the country where the internship is being offered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Figma and Zeplin design tools
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React language skills
  • Interest or education in accessibility best practices for web (WCAG AA, ADA)

About the US Intern Program

The U.S. program runs from May through August 2021 for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. U.S. recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March 2021.
