We are seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney to support analysis of patent licensing requests, intellectual property (IP) litigation and management of trademark portfolios. The position will also identify and advise the business on potential intellectual property issues. In this role, you will:

• Analyze, provide recommendations for and negotiate patent licensing opportunities;
• Assist in managing patent litigations;
• Draft IP licenses;
• Manage trademark portfolios;
• Counsel business units on all aspects of IP.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Three+ years of IP experience at a major law firm, boutique IP firm or corporation, involving patent licensing and/or litigation;
• Solid understanding of patent, trademark and copyright laws;
• Demonstrated project management capabilities;
• Admission to practice as a patent attorney before the USPTO a plus;
• Patent prosecution experience a plus;
• Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or computer science a plus.

All candidates must have:

• Juris Doctor degree, with strong academic credentials from an accredited law school;
• Admission to the Colorado Bar, or the ability to become admitted promptly under Rule 204.1 of the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure (Single-Client Counsel).
