Role Summary:

The Integrated Marketing Manager plays a critical role in bringing the BellRock Brands portfolio to life via regional marketing plans focused on engaging consumers and trade via localised retail, promotional, experiential and media (digital & traditional) initiatives. Naturally curious and a collaborative leader, the Integrated Marketing Manager has a deep understanding of and belief in hyper local and point-of-purchase marketing. Working directly with our sales team to develop the tools they need to ‘win at retail’ and with our brand teams to guide brand communication efforts, the role understands the power of consumer driven brands and how critical the retail channel is to the commercial health of those brands. A storyteller, a creative problem solver and a champion of the shopper, the Integrated Marketing Manager plays a leading role in establishing BellRock Brands as the leading CPG company in the cannabis industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand the Marketplace

  • Utilize commercial and consumer data to develop a comprehensive understanding of market, category and segment dynamics
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in each state, becoming the go-to source for competitor insight
  • Develop a deep understanding of the retail landscape in each state to identify priority / lighthouse accounts and commercial opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of BellRock Brands’ portfolio, features and benefits, how they differ from direct competitors, and why retail partners should care

Craft the Stories

  • Utilize comprehensive market and product knowledge to craft differentiated and compelling selling stories across the BellRock Brands portfolio
  • Develop and deploy a seasonal activation calendar and related programs to capitalize on key holidays and selling windows
  • Own the BellRock Brands Partnership program, ensuring selection criteria, partnership tools, and tactics are optimized for an evolving retail market
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to build and deploy a robust trade email calendar and content plan (national / state / local)

Build the Toolkits

  • Translate selling stories into highly effective sales presenters (traditional and digital) with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain POP marketing catalogs and toolkits including POSM, display material, merchandise, digital assets and partnership tools
  • Work with relevant internal and external partners to develop retail promotional programs and related tools
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Dixie Brands digital shelf with key retail and delivery service partners
  • Manage and optimize relationships with relevant external vendors and agency partners including promotional staffing, retail display, digital asset and POD, etc.

Communicate & Collaborate

  • Be the point of contact (and filter) for all sales support requirements & requests
  • Support sales team training and induction programs
  • Work with Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights to provide market intelligence that drives evolution on a brand, communication and NPD level
  • Marketing lead for trade and consumer event creation, planning and execution

Skills & Traits Required:

  • Engaging, charismatic, and able to conduct difficult conversations
  • Analytic and creative, balancing short and long term commercial and brand needs
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize and formulate data-based recommendations and presentations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, projects and work streams
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail and follow through
  • 5 years Field and /or Trade marketing experience
  • CPG experience a must
  • Ideally Denver based but open to possible in-market location (especially CA)
  • Cannabis experience a plus

Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of regional, field / trade or shopper marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field a plus
  • CPG experience required. Cannabis experience preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience managing an agency partner relationship preferred

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
