Job Description

The Customer Service Representative position will involve answering multiple phone lines, providing customer service to agency customers, receiving and processing insurance payments for existing customers, drafting letters & reports, and other additional clerical duties and insurance customer service duties as directed by the agent or associates. The position does require the applicant to have an active 220,440 or 2044 insurance license or a minimum of 2 years of insurance experience. Please upload your resume.

Salary Range: $25000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Process customer change requests
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Document each customer contact in EAgent.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Provideexceptional customer service.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms - places orders weekly.
  • Cross sell existing clients and follow procedures to retain clients.

Requirements
  • Must hold an active 220 , 440 or 2044 license
  • If not licensed a minimumof 2 years insurance experience required
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
