Instructional & Curriculum Designer-Asst Vice President-TAMPA Details

  • Produce high-quality technical and training documentation for global internal clients on the applications supported by Global Strategic Operations. Training material/documentation types include Online Help, User Guides, Quick Reference Guides, animated Videos, FAQs, Conceptual Overviews.
  • Create training plans for BAU and project activities, working with management to identify and prioritize training activities.
  • Create Computer Based Training (CBT) / eLearning material and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Liaise with technical SMEs to ensure new technical information is understood and accurate.
  • Provide training to internal support groups as required using the appropriate medium.
  • Provide demos and live training sessions to end users, support groups and senior management.
  • Provide pre-recorded sessions as an alternative to live training.
  • Maintain training via a learning management system by setting up new courses/classes as required and providing statistics on training completed.
  • Focus on the design and delivery of training, instruction and information, ensuring these are audience focused.
  • Plan and administer training sessions using the internal Learning Management System.
  • Review the documentation in line with the software to ensure they are consistent with each other.
  • Maintain configuration and versioning of the documents, ensuring the latest version is available.
  • Plan, host, record and edit Zoom-based webinars.
  • Develop and execute performance and customer service survey on GSO applications and services.
  • Assist with maintenance and creation of SharePoint sites & the CRS University website, both the central repository for hosting of training material.
  • Ensure all marketing materials, websites, whitepapers, etc. are consistent with the established GSO brand and follow Citi policies and guidelines.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Captivate or Storyline 360
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular, MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience in SumTotal LMS a plus.
  • Experience in Brainshark a plus.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office365 and OneDrive a plus
  • Basic HTML skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of converting text to PDF files.
  • Good knowledge of MS Visio or other graphics software used to produce conceptual illustrations, workflows, and to illustrate screenshots.
  • Knowledge of tools to create Computer-Based Training (CBT) applications.
  • Experienced in creation of Help files, User/ Administrator/ Configuration guides.

  • Excellent writing skills (reader analysis; document organization; spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, word choice and usage; graphics).
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely to convey relevant information.
  • Creative ways to present ideas using graphics, pictures and animations in CBTs / presentations.
  • Ability to create quality documents and meet the appropriate deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly grasp business and technical concepts.
  • Ability to write for a wide range of audiences, with different levels of experience and understanding.
  • Proactive and skilled at extracting information from product experts.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Highly self-motivated with proven ability to define, set expectations and lead multiple concurrent projects, in an extremely fast paced changing environment.
  • Collaborative and flexible "team player" orientation with a strong cultural awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, English, Technical Writing (or equivalent professional and/or academic training).
  • Minimum 3 years' technical writing experience in a software environment.
  • Bilingual skills considered as a plus.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.
