We have a 74,000 square foot fabrication shop as well as a massive sandblasting and painting area. With our Meriden and Torrington shops and abilities, we can handle any project you can throw at us.

Logan Steel is looking for a new sales representative at our Meriden headquarters! Logan Steel has been rapidly expanding since since its start and is looking to grow more. We are looking for an individual who is self motivated, has strong communication skills, and is willing to learn the steel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Quote potential orders (raw material, fabrication, and metal finishing)
  • Follow up on leads
  • Create orders in our system
  • Provide quality customer service in person, over the phone, and online
  • Purchasing of material when applicable

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of experience in sales
  • Steel knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of computer systems

  • Efficiency in communication
  • Proficiency in typing
  • Basic math & design skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and multitask
  • Knowledge of Google drive/docs preferred
