CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Non-Exempt

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

The primary function of this position is supporting the Sales Representatives and internal CDS team for assigned proposals, related pricing and contract documents as well as upsell existing clients on our content management software solutions. This is a Remote position working with a Remote team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS PERFORMED:

  • Oversees a large volume of assigned proposal requests for content management products and services including writing and pricing with input from multiple sources
  • Review, analyze and interpret contract requirements in order to create a professional end product
  • Proof, edit, format and provide visualizations for proposals
  • Innovate new ways to improve responses for purposes of content and time management
  • Create and improve processes including documentation to increase efficiency
  • Perform outbound communication to assigned customers to understand current needs and use of their content management solution, educate the customer on features available, providing upgrade proposals and following up to close the opportunity
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of the software that is being upsold


Required Experience:


QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skill level
  • Experience with CRM or similar system, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Understanding of government terminology, preferred
  • Experience in creating, planning, and coordinating proposal development activities
  • Persuasive and motivational negotiation communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in researching and analyzing data
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Organized thinking, with excellent creative problem-solving ability
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
  • Personal values that match our corporate values
