Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona is seeking a hands-on Information Technology Specialist. This position works closely with Devereux corporate help desk and the IT team to assist Arizona Center users in both Maricopa and Pima Counties, by helping to identify and resolve problems, troubleshooting, testing and installation of technology software and hardware through user requests and utilizing a ticketing tracking system. This position requires good problem solving and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work and meet customer demands and deadlines.   • High School Diploma or equivalent such as GED required; A+ Certification preferred
  • 1 year experience in a business environment acquiring skills and knowledge as required
  • Self-motivated with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve malfunctions of devices in a timely manner
  • Knowledgeable of desktop applications, devices and communications providers
  • Proficient with desktops, laptops and applications including MS Office Suite
  • A high level proficiency with MS Excel in order to maintain data and create reports
  • Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills and maintains a professional demeanor and attitude when dealing with customers/employees
  • Must be able to protect and maintain confidentiality of information
OTHER:
  • Must be available to attend 2 weeks of required orientation training (paid, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) plus additional 2-3 weeks on the job training
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check
  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination
  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
