IDC Assistant Engineer will perform IDC technical support for CTA colocation business ensuring the customer?s operational requirements are met. The position may take shift to meet the requirement of 7*24 service time. Report too and work well with team manager as required. Assist with troubleshooting customer request. Follow existing procedures and site documentation procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist with supporting the regular testing of facility equipment
executing and tracking planned facilities work at the Data Center;
Assist with monitoring and reporting on facilities system utilization, capacities, and performance, including power, cooling and water.
Assist with troubleshooting along with customers and related vendors.
Assist on duty engineer during rotating shifts of daytime, night time and off hours. Monitor and maintain Los Angeles POP facility including but not limited at HVAC, AC UPS, DC power plant and fire pre-action system.
Response for Transport network, IP network and Voice network monitoring. Take action on network facility and alarms according to company procedure. Open tickets to related carriers, Track ticket status.
Process customer trouble ticket, carrier trouble ticket, Escalate ticket according to escalation procedure.
International Private Line testing and activation.
