Overview: The iCare Principal Trainer/Analyst works under the supervision of the ICare Project and Training Managers. This individual is responsible for the design development and maintenance of the iCare Training Environment training materials and methods for clinical and nonclinical end users. This individual is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the ICare application policies and procedures and workflows for the respective area. This individual must have the ability to understand and translate the functionality of the ICare application configuration and workflow into the ICare training environment and class room presentations. Key attention to detail quality control and ongoing evaluation of training materials / sessions is required. The ICare Principal Trainer works collaboratively with the ICare Project team (application analysts Project Managers) to ensure that training materials are developed and maintained to support project goals and time lines. The Principal trainer must have excellent communication presentation and coordination skills as well as the ability to effectively interact will all levels of the organization. Roles and Responsibilities: Administering training sessions including attendance proficiency assessment and class evaluation at the end of each session escalating issues and improvement ideas to Training Manager. Develops and implements credentialed training programs and materials to support users of the ICare Application. Develops and maintains the Master training environment for the respective application including any system enhancements upgrades etc. Thorough knowledge of the of the clinical information systems as they relate to both physicians and clinical staff. Identifies and implements opportunities for process improvement in support of ICare training initiatives. The role is responsible for developing the respective ICare application(s) by investigating analyzing and documenting current and future state processes to ensure the successful integration between clinical/business practice and the relevant ICare application. The analyst fulfills multiple roles throughout the project life cycle (design implementation and long term support) by gaining comprehensive knowledge of the ICare software as well as hospital / medical center / physician practice operations and workflows. The analyst coordinates all issues that arise during the project for their respective application and must be knowledgeable about RHS policies procedures and business operations. The analyst works closely with other ICare application analysts project managers trainers to translate clinical and business needs into EMR functionality in a manner consistent with project timelines and budgets. The analyst must have excellent communication skills in sharing information with fellow team members as well as interacting with clinical operations and administrative staff to ascertain specific application requirements. Key attention to detail and ability to respond professionally to urgent changes that impact Patient Safety Quality or other federal / regulatory requirements is required.The analyst:-Actively participates as part of a team in system configuration on-going maintenance / process improvement changedocumentation and training staff on application functionality.- Works independently in completing project task as part of the project implementation including building / testing of systemcomponents documentation of workflows building of data sets master files and reports performs quality assurance andintegrated testing on new releases / upgrades.- Develops report specifications and works closely with report writers to ensure operational and regulatory reporting needs are met including reports necessary to comply with Federal and Regulatory requirements (Meaningful Use CMS SoreMeasures etc) - Receptive to business needs expressed by customers (Clinicians Providers Administration Operations) and clearlydocuments system capability and constraints.- Works with all clinical business and IT constituents in a positive supportive and collaborative team manner.The analyst provides 24/7 on call support on a rotating basis for application issue resolution.]
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree Health Care Administration, Clinical Information Systems. Informatics, Information Technology or Sciences RN, RRT, RPH, ARNP, PA, CPA (Required) Bachelor's Degree required or 8+ years of progressive healthcare experience. Relevant healthcare (hospital/medical center/integrated delivery system) experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Relevant ICare Certification(s) to be obtained. Completion required as defined in ICare Implementation Timeline.
Experience: 3 years required in progressive healthcare industry experience preferably in an Integrated Delivery Network in clinical care, operations or IT system support. 3 Years preferred in clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: OR, Anesthesia, Emergency, Pharmacy, Oncology, OB/GYN, or IT experience in CPOE, Clinical Documentation OR healthcare operations experience such as billing, scheduling, access services, health information management (HIM) OR in-depth knowledge of ambulatory physician and back office nursing and specialty department clinical documentation workflows, care planning, and patient education. 5 Years preferred in progressive healthcare (Integrated Delivery System) experience in clinical or operations setting, IT system development or deployment, experience as a clinical analyst, business analyst, systems or financial analyst. 1-3 Years Preferred with hands-on ICare clinical systems experience with appropriate ICare Training / certifications in at least one application area. 3 years Classroom / On-Line / 1:1 Training Preferred 3+ years Healthcare or clinical setting/ experience with adult learning methodology and/ or instructional design Preferred Experience / Knowledge Requirements: ? Strong presentation, people and communication skills. Highly organized , ability to effectively adapt to a changing curriculum
Certification: Relevant ICare Certification(s) to be obtained. Completion required as defined in ICare Implementation Timeline. Existing ICare Certification(s) in relevant application preferred.
