Fixed Maintenance & Repair is an on-demand, full-service maintenance, repair and construction solution for commercial and residential property. Services include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances and handymen (from basic R&M, carpentry, painting, drywall work to full-scale renovations and remodels).

Position

Full-time HVAC Service Technician

Job Duties

This individual will be a primary responder for residential and commercial maintenance and repair service calls related to HVAC. Participates in after-hour on-call rotation with other technicians.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

>Must have valid and active licenses for HVAC, EPA

>Minimum of 5 years trade experience in residential or commercial service calls; service experience required

>Ability to work independently

>Ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues

>Capable of working in attics, small spaces or on rooftops

>Desire to provide excellent customer service

>Good leadership skills and ability to communicate

>Clean appearance, good character and positive, “can do” attitude

>Friendly, honest and dependable person

>Ability to use a cell phone

>Ability to calculate service call charges and confidently talk to customers

>Good driving record and valid driver’s license mandatory

>Must provide own basic tools, Company provides large tools

>Service vehicle and gas card provided by company

>Good safety record

>Nonsmoker

>Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening

>English speaking

>Reside in or close to Austin, Texas

>High school or equivalent education
