This position also serves as the lead for various HR programs and services that support department staff for programs served by the team and HR Office including employee recognition, events and the RTD EcoPass commuter discount program. As the strategic communications specialist for the division, the position is responsible for developing the communication plans; drafting, compiling, editing, and finalizing the internal and external communications and marketing collateral related to the assigned task or project, and facilitating the tasks that support the development of these materials. This position is responsible for maintaining clear alignment of messaging, identifying the appropriate audience, and coordinating all communications to ensure timely sharing of information while avoiding under or over communication frequency with the ability to communicate effectively. Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, Journalism, or a related field AND
Two years of professional experience including the design, preparation, editing, and publication of websites, digital communications, and online document management.
Substitutions:
Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum Qualification Screening
