Job Position: Human Resources Director

Job Location: Corporate Office, Stone Mountain GA (Not a Remote Role)

Reports To: VP of Human Resources

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Director is a lead HR Professional for the HR Team and will manage Human Resources processes and procedures for the corporate office and work with field HR team as a partner. The Human Resources Director leads human resources efforts that will provide a team member-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes WinCups core Values.

Provides core, common and consistent human resource solutions to the team member population. Responsible for managing corporate based HR functions including, recruitment, new hire on-boarding, employee off-boarding, employee relations, HR compliance, HR recordkeeping, audit support, payroll processes and performance management. Will oversee company initiatives around AAP, Performance Management and will handle all Benefits Administration for corporate and the field. Must stay abreast of all state and federal employment law changes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a core understanding of the business and utilize information to perform as an HR Business Partner to all areas of the organization.
  • Data analytics mining to support an agile workforce
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the human resources functions and working with the VP of HR to ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance. Audit and maintain electronic team-member records, assuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain strong confidentiality practices.
  • Oversees the employee relations program, exercising good judgment in the management and resolution of basic and complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Escalate complex team-member relations issues to VP of HR when necessary.
  • Coach Managers on handling disciplinary issues, work-related conflict and performance concerns; assist with the development and delivery of performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with the administration of the performance evaluation program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization.
  • Manage the team-member experience as to the on-boarding process to foster positive attitudes toward company goals and their impact on the business.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support projects.
  • Facilitate the termination process, including completing separation documentation, conducting exit interviews and creating data analytics to report out.
  • Participate in career development planning, discussing career paths with corporate and field line managers, and recommending suitable candidates for promotion.
  • Investigates and advises both management and team members on employee relation issues.
  • Consults with VP of HR on complex or potentially litigious termination decisions.
  • Participates in Corporate employee termination discussions. Coaches the manager in preparations for such discussions.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, preferred in manufacturing or industrial company environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated experience in all areas of Human Resources including Data Analytics and Reporting (staffing/retention/onboarding/benefits/payroll/systems/coaching/

succession planning, etc.)

  • Ability to influence without authority, become a trusted partner and build collaborative relationships while handling confidential information
  • Must be approachable, professional and develop strong professional relationships
  • Both strategic and hands on efforts required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Professional presence and polish
  • Overnight Travel (5-20%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM Certification(s)
  • Bi-Lingual
  • PayCom Experience
