Duties

  • Serve as a liaison on matters concerning the Learning Management System (LMS), associated data, and reports.
  • Implement and administer a wide variety of Human Resource Development programs to include: the Employee Development program, the Apprenticeship Program, the Pathway Program, and the Special Emphasis Program.
  • Support the Learning Officer with the administration of the LMS to ensure classes are set up and available for registration.
  • Conduct one on one New Employee Orientation (NEO) for new employees assigned to the Regional Office to include: a review of benefit options, regulations, mandatory training, and local information.
  • Oversee the Employee Assistance Program and the Wellness Program for the Region.
  • Duty will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level of GS-07.
Requirements Conditions of Employment

The Bureau of Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.

Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience GS-06: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) applying policies, rules, and procedures to provide information to customers; (2) assisting customers with report narratives, basic instructions on training processes, and/or course material preparation (e.g. setting up training rooms, preparing handouts, scheduling training, etc.); (3) utilizing an automated system to track accurate data for reporting.

Specialized Experience GS-07: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) assisting with or administering a variety of human resource development programs, (2) assisting training personnel with training courses, training programs, and/or material development activities; (3) conducting human resource training sessions; and/or (4) serving as the automated training system liaison to track and update accurate data for reports.
