Royal Wayland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a (Part-time) Human Resource/Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for a variety of Payroll and Human Resources related tasks. The HR-Payroll Coordinator will be the primary processor of a weekly payroll. Administrative tasks include but not limited too; entering all new hires into HRIS system, processing personnel changes, personnel transactions, maintaining employee files, medical files and I9 files. Days - 24 hours per week (Flexible schedule - Monday essential to process payroll).
Combination of HR/Payroll (16 hrs per week), along with Business Office Manager duties (8 hours per week).
LTC experience preferred (for BOM), strong payroll, HR, HRIS
HR PAYROLL
Direct facility’s accounts receivable under supervision of CFO and Director of Accounts Receivable
Participates in weekly Medicare meeting and monthly triple check meeting
Responsible for private aging and maintaining DOS averages
Verify admissions and payer source
Meet with families to review coverage upon admission
Ability to initiate and code PPS billing
Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility process
Maintain daily census
Maintain PNA according to regulations
Other duties as needed
Experience with Matrix software preferred but not necessary
Key Educational/Professional Requirements
3+ years Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance vendors
3+ years Experience with Accounts Receivable, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care environment
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
