You will be working with a high performing collaborative team focused on providing all internal and external clients with exceptional customer service, in-depth knowledge of and expertise in the areas of human capital management.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Third Future Schools high-performing charter school network under the general supervision of the Executive Director, Strategy and Innovation, in coordination with other departments performing a range of specialized HR functions
  • Coordinates with and assists the Network regarding personnel policies and procedures; participates in the development and administration of new/revised programs or reports as directed
  • Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures manual for employees
  • Assists management, campus leaders, and all employees with employee relations, personnel policies and facilitates a wide array of HR areas including recruiting and staffing logistics; organization development; employment and compliance with regulatory concerns; employee onboarding and orientation
  • Assists by supporting management and employees with resolving issues, conflicts, and clarifying workplace policies and procedures
  • Assists the network in design, development, implementation and administration of training, education and development programs
  • Performs talent acquisition functions when appropriate, to include providing job fair support, screening resumes, creating interview packets, administering reference/background checks, and extending conditional employment offers
  • Mastering in-depth knowledge of Third Future Schools authorizing representatives’ policies and other regulatory documents as required to complete assignments and tasks
  • Support of administrative management of BambooHR
  • Interacts with staff and the public with courtesy and tact while responding to inquiries, complaints, and information requests and explaining HR procedures
  • Meets with management to narrow contentious issues, offers compromise solutions
  • Serves as the network expert regarding benefit offerings to employees
  • Responsible for managing employee and contractor background check and fingerprinting processes
  • Provides collaborative support to campus office management teams in the areas of HR
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

In-Depth Knowledge of:

  • Human resources practices and principles, to include employee relations, FMLA, equal employment opportunity, recruitment and replacement, benefit programs, hourly and salary personnel administration, employee contracts, contractors, personnel development, organization planning, and employee database maintenance
  • Principles and practices of effective management, organizational structures, administration, and leadership
  • Employment regulations, personnel administration, and fiscal responsibility to include strategic planning, problem solving, listening, and analyzing information

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible human resources experience in education field
  • Two (2) years of employee relations experience in education field
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or similar human resources certification
