Summary:
This professional supports Human Resources in all aspects of HR functions with a focus on recruitment and onboarding to include the prescreening process. The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator will manage the recruiting and talent acquisition process, to include developing a network to continue to bring excellent talent. This position will also coordinate the records management program, constantly looking for ways to improve our record-keeping. The HR Coordinator will require a hands-on approach and the ability to embrace and promote our company culture.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all pre-employment reference checks to include background checks, finger-printing, and medical screenings.
- Responsible for recruitment to include job postings, advertisings, screenings, assisting with interviews when needed, and attending career fairs.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of recruitment procedures and methods to ensure consistency in recruiting and onboarding efforts to include utilizing various recruitment technologies to acquire a high volume of applicants.
- Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing all aspects of the on-boarding process in order to fill vacancies as soon as possible.
- Will ensure applicable communication is maintained with candidates, supervisors, and the Human Resources Team in order to meet all screening requirements while at the same time promptly expediting screenings.
- Will assist with conducting new employee orientation as needed
- Assist to ensure that the 90-day performance evaluation is conducted in a timely manner for all new hires.
- Responsible for data entry for new hires
- Responsible for creating new hire personnel record and will assist in maintenance as needed or requested by HR Generalist
- Responsible for preparing reports for the department
- Provide technical and operational support to the Human Resources Department to include the Human Resources Generalist.
- NOTE: HR Coordinator duties may be distributed amongst HR Coordinators. However, all HR Coordinators will be expected to be trained and able to complete all assignments as indicated above.
- Must be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
- Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications:
o Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
o Three (3) years’ experience in social services preferred
o 1 year plus human resources experienced preferred

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
