SUMMARY:
Maintains, coordinates and initiates safety practices in the facility to remain in compliance with all State and Federal Health and Safety regulations and requirements. This position works closely with all in-house personnel and outside vendors to foster a safe working environment for employees, visitors and vendors.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years related experience in manufacturing and industrial safety. Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and organizational skills.Familiarity with Microsoft office products (work, excel, outlook & PowerPoint) to communicate and prepare reports and presentations.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Microsoft office products (work, excel, outlook & PowerPoint) to communicate and prepare reports and presentations.
