This is a new 'fully dedicated' HRBP Director role, responsible for the provision of strategic HRBP support to the Global Marketing organization, and also for managing the HRBP team providing support to the same. (The Marketing organization consists of c. 1,000 employees, of which 20 are Exec level and a further 43 are DIR level). In addition to ensuring the successful implementation of all Global People programs and initiatives across the Global Marketing organisation, the job holder will be responsible for the provision of strategic business HRBP support on a wide range of topics including organisation design and strategy, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement and retention. As the CMO and his leadership team are predominantly based in the US, the preferred location for the job holder would be an HP location in the AMS time zone. Actively partner with the Chief Marketing Officer and his executive staff, and in their capacity as a trusted advisor, provide leadership coaching and strategic HR advice on the full range of people issues and that influences the strategic direction of the function. Proactively designs and implements people strategies to ensure the successful implementation of the Global Marketing Priorities. Play an active role in supporting the organisation with their ongoing Transformation efforts, and for ensuring HRBP support to the Marketing Transformation program, Marketing 2025, partnering directly with the Chief of Staff to the CMO to ensure that all the people related aspects of the transformation are smoothly implemented. Partner directly with the Marketing Labs professional development team to ensure we have a holistic suite of L&D offerings for marketers that combine professional and leadership development and drive the required business outcomes, as well as with the CMO and CMO staff to ensure continued focus on talent development initiatives in support of our DE&I goals. Play a leadership role in helping to shape the wider HR strategy for all Global Functions as a member of the Global Functions People Team. Effectively partner with SME's (e.g. People Org COE's, Corporate Affairs, Legal etc.) to create custom solutions to address business specific issues. Providing leadership and direction to the Marketing HRBP team, and supporting their ongoing growth and development The job holder will also play a leadership role in helping to shape the wider HR strategy for all Global Functions as a member of the Global Functions People Team. First-level university degree; advanced university degree in business or HR related discipline preferred. Typically 12+ of business partner experience with significant strategic experience, including senior management influence. Knowledge and experience of designing and implementing people programs on a global scale, with sensitivity and understanding of different cultures and labour requirements. Strong leadership and staff development skills. Prior experience of supporting executive leaders in an HR Business Partner capacity. Superior ability to provide HR consultation to executives and managers on HR issues regarding employee relations, staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management. Ability to work in a collaborative manner and develop strong working relationships with clients, employees and HR colleagues. Strong project management and prioritisation skills. Ability to build partnerships across various functions. Strong communication skills – written, oral and presentation. Strong consulting and coaching skills. Strong leadership and staff development skills.
