The Role:

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic HR Specialist to join our growing People team at Current. In this role you will be responsible for owning the full employee experience from onboarding to managing employee benefits. This is a full time position and will report to the Manager of People Operations.

Requirements:

  • Serve as first point of contact for payroll, benefits administration, verification of employment, and other employee questions
  • Manage the onboarding process for all new hires
  • Administer and manage employee benefits as well as annual open enrollments, and liaise with our payroll & benefits provider to resolve any employee questions or concerns
  • Support HR Manager in updating the employee handbook and enforcing company policies
  • Champion employee engagement and employee events
  • Implement and run employee engagement surveys focusing on various People Ops initiatives including company culture and in-office activities, candidate experience, new hire onboarding, etc
  • Continuously look for ways to improve programs and processes and provide recommendations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide ongoing support on special projects, key People Ops activities and business initiatives
  • Update and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance

About You:

  • 3+ years of direct HR experience within a fast growing organization
  • Knowledge and experience using HRIS and payroll tools
  • Proficient in G-Suite and Excel
  • Interpersonal experience with communicating across all levels of the organization internally, as well as externally
  • Experience independently partnering with leadership and driving HR initiatives
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data
  • Creative and intuitive team player
  • Ability to drive projects and initiatives with little to no supervision
