Position Summary:

The Human Resources Specialist works with the HR Director and the local management team providing a high level of Human Resources services that include employee engagement, supporting performance management, employee relations, onboarding new hires, and serving as the building Office Coordinator and will help with event planning and special projects. The HR Specialist will be a point of contact for management and employees within the Cleveland Support Center and, spend a significant amount of time interacting with employees at all levels. In this role, you can expect a diverse set of duties and responsibilities that will allow you to highlight your skills within the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • With support from the HR Director, serves as the primary HR contact for leadership and employees to address all employee related needs in the Cleveland office.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Director.
  • Assists with HR and Support office Budget, invoices, and reconciling corporate credit card.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates all Support Team Organizational charts and publishes monthly.
  • Maintains our subscriptions and updates our compliance poster vendor, GovDocs, with any additions, changes to the company portfolio.
  • Coordinate all office activities, monthly team meetings, outings, events, celebrations and works with the HR Director on the actual implementation.
  • Handles all office coordination and facilities maintenance (in suite repairs) for the Cleveland, OH office.
  • Handles Tuition Reimbursement and administers PC Purchase program
  • Provides Administrative support to the HR Director and SVP of HR.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least 1-2 years of human resource generalist experience required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
