Overview:

Responsible for the design and execution of effective recruiting and labor strategies which will provide sufficient qualified labor to the distribution center within the areas of operation to satisfy operational needs. The incumbent will analyze the various channels which provide appropriate candidates and utilize them to source sufficient qualified candidates.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts an analysis of current recruiting strategies, effects change as required as to improve the volume and quality of candidates.
  • Maintains a roster of open positions including time open, fill date, start date, and develops methodology to satisfy need of the site on a timely basis.
  • Consults with Management to identify qualified candidate profile, by position.
  • Daily communication regarding recruiting progress
  • Process onboarding and assist in New Hire Orientations
  • Organize and host job fairs
  • Utilizes corporate provided HR software for candidate tracking.
  • Complete first interview with potential applicants via telephone, to measure quality of applicant
  • Schedule second interviews with qualified applicants and Hiring Managers
  • 90% Recruitment of Warehouse positions

Experience/Education:

  • BA in liberal arts or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years heavy recruiting experience in fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated analytic and process improvement skills
  • HR generalist experience
  • Demonstrated strong communications skills. Spanish a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel on short notice

Minimum Requirements:

BA in liberal arts or equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years heavy recruiting experience in fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated analytic and process improvement skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills required
  • Applicant tracking, Avionte or HRIS system proficiency a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
