Reports to: HR Manager
Summary/Objective
: HR Payroll Specialist will handle payroll function and support recruitment duties in East Coast. The incumbent will also partner with all members of the HR Department to provide generalist support in various areas as needed.
Essential Functions:

1. Process USA semi-monthly payroll and special payroll, including bonus and ex-pat payments. 2. Update payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, etc.; prepare and submit payroll reports. 3. Support recruitment for the East Coast by working with management and supervisors to identify staffing needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. 4. Post job openings on various recruitment sites and liaise with external recruiters to source for qualified candidates. 5. Coordinate interviews and ensure all necessary recruiting related paperwork are filled out, approved and filed properly. 6. Update and maintain monthly, quarterly and semi-annual HR Reports; create reports for internal and external use using ADP Workforce Now system. 7. Address employees’ inquiries about company policies, payroll, time and attendance, etc. 8. Assist HR team with adhoc projects, audit requests, procedural reviews & reports. 9. Assist and complete Head Office reports

Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and cell phone. Most work is completed in an office environment. Travel Requirements: May be required to occasionally visit other offices in Flushing, Brooklyn or NYC. Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university. 2 -4 years of related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience. Language/Communication Skills: Bilingual Mandarin verbal, reading and writing skills highly preferred. Other Duties:
