What You’ll Do
  • Onboarding of new hires: conduct New Hire orientation, coordinate document verification, updating on the HRIS system and related activities
  • Schedule all activities for the first 3 weeks of the new employee’s employment to include new hire activities, 30-60-90 days of assessments, on-the-job field training, and coordination with the hiring managers.
  • Offboarding of terminated employees: schedule/conduct exit interviews and coordinate with IT / Payroll on exit formalities completion
  • Employment Verification processing
  • Responsible for the data integrity of the HRIS for new hires, employee information, and employment status changes
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Facilitates paperwork, process, and data entry for employee events/changes i.e., manager changes, terminations, and verifications of employment,
  • Statutory/company benefit administration, including employee enrollment/leaving, data processing, payment, and program initiation
  • Provide timely employee relations response, investigation, and resolution, ensuring proper communication to employee questions, issues, or concerns.
  • Works with HR and Operations leadership to identify and recommend areas of improvement for HR-related services and metrics
  • Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across lines of business and functions
  • Develop strong credibility and internal relationships at all levels and influence key decision-makers
  • Maintain a high level of personal confidentiality, integrity, and strategic orientation.
What You Know
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as an HR Generalist, preferably in a high-tech environment
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment and labor laws
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships with the team and stakeholders, while demonstrating a positive, personal, and professional image; highly responsive
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through is a must; performs tasks with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
  • Computer proficiency in Windows, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong analytical abilities required
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexible team player; outstanding customer service orientation and qualities
  • Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with the organization’s values and culture
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid PHR certification is a must have for this role.
