About the Position

The HR Generalist performs a variety of both complex and routine HR services. The Generalist supports leaders and employees by answering questions and resolving issues. The Generalist performs HR-related duties and manages HR projects as assigned.

Duties include:

  • Provides answers and guidance to employees and leaders on general HR questions. Interprets and policy. Escalates situations appropriately.
  • Manages several functional assignments including background screening, independent contractors, driver approvals, and employee files
  • Assists with employee relations cases. Reviews corrective action documents, assists with investigations, and supports leaders with problem-solving and positive employee relations strategies.
  • Assists with Human Resources training for managers and employees
  • Manages HR projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working in an HR department
