This position is for one Human Resources Generalist (either level II or III) depending on business need and applicant's qualifications. The ability to telework may be available for up to two days per week with supervisor approval/office coverage. Regular work location: 135 Slaton Rd, Lubbock, TX 79404 Salary Grade HR Generalist II - B 20 - $45,158.00 - $64,449.00/year HR Generalist III - B22 $51,614.00 - $84,479.00/year Overnight Travel: 10% HR Generalist II Performs responsible Human Resources Generalist work in the Lubbock District for the Human Resources Division. Work requires reviewing, preparing and maintaining confidential information. Work requires contact with management, employees, retirees, health care providers, state and federal agencies. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence. HR Generalist III Performs and coordinates advanced human resources-related work in the Lubbock District. Facilitates one or more human resources program(s). Serve as a lead worker for professional, technical, and administrative employees. Work requires reviewing, preparing, and maintaining confidential information. Work requires contact with management, employees, retirees, health care providers; and state and federal agencies. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.
