HR Coordinator and Organizational Duties: Provides assistance, clerical and administrative services in an efficient and effective manner to support the front office area of HR.- Greets and uses correct etiquette when communicating over the telephone and responding to visitors who come into the HR Office.
- Enters orientation and employee health attendance dates into HR database and files these reports in employee files.
- Greets and assists applicants with information about open positions, requirements, etc
- Maintains ready access to records, files competency education files, employee health records, etc.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in matters relating to and pertaining to the HR department, employees and the hospital.
- Demonstrates promptness in completing assignments
- Maintains the front office area
- Department Responsibilities: Accurately and timely completes New Hire process in accordance with established policies and fulfills responsibilities to department and co-workers and shows initiative.
- Prepares and copies required paperwork for employee files (i.e.) I-9, W4, SS card, Orientation notices
- Coordinates the scheduling of employee health and benefits meetings with all new hires.
- Assists with distribution of employment applications and enters information into application database
- Demonstrates initiative in increasing skills; attends training programs and in-services as available
- Posts available jobs on and maintains HR bulletin boards
