As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will support business operations with broad-spectrum HR knowledge through the core employee lifecycle of events to create a great employee experience. This position requires leadership and team collaboration across our collective HR team of recruiting, benefits, leadership management, HRIS, compensation, and coaches. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can effectively partner with all levels of leaders, from executives to frontline leaders, and be successful.
In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning to include identifying issues and influencing long-term solutions that yield results. Collaboration across the business groups and HR teams is imperative to long-term success. We lead as one team, so be prepared to learn and grow as these roles can help in any position within the business or HR team.

  • Create and identify the talent strategy for the teams you support by understanding the recruiting process, compensation process, and employee engagement level to ensure success.
  • Review metrics and data to provide information and suggestions in planning meetings.
  • Conduct employee investigations and promptly report any compliance-related concerns and work through appropriate resolution.
  • Develop productive working partnerships with business partners, advise management of risks associated with current business practices, recommend improvements by providing expertise to management in local, state, and federal employment laws, and proactively advise on recommendations and alternatives to human resources strategy higher-level managers.
  • Understands and can articulate department and DISH corporate business goals, including financial impacts of HR actions.
A successful HR Business Partner will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience; and 3-5 years related experience coaching and collaborating with all levels of employees from entry-level to executives in corporate and field environments.
  • Solid knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing recruiting and employment issues.
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives with competencies that include, but are not limited to: excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Flexible, innovative in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
