Position Summary

The staffing coordinators is a multi-roled position in the HR space of the company. Responsibilities will include HR liaison between our HR services company and employees, recruiting/interviews, on-boarding, and payroll. As well the Staffing Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Training Coordinator to ensure employees are being professionally trained at key intervals for progression. As well the position will require assisting with periodic staff reviews, display actions, and conversations. There will be a heavy focus on developing the companies staff past, present, and future. During non-peak times other duties and office tasks maybe assigned. Full benefits package available.

Reportable Objectives

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Designing and updating job descriptions
  • Sourcing candidates via online platforms, job fairs, and other recruiting methods
  • Assisting with crafting and implementing recruiting and onboarding process
  • Screen incoming applicants, references, & Motor Vehicle Record
  • Interview candidates
  • Prepare and process onboarding documents
  • Onboard employee fully: paperwork, digital access, email setup, phone set, etc.
  • Enter Employee into Necessary Software: Oasis, TSheets, Quick Books
  • Provide list of qualified candidates to CEO & Training Coordinator for recommendation
  • Work with the team to fit candidate into proper role, truck assignment, etc.
  • Monitor & improve HR Metrics:
  • time to fill, time to onboard, source of hire, cost per hire, quality of hire, turnover rate, offer acceptance rate.
  • Act as a consultant to new hires through onboarding
  • Act as a consultant to staff as liaison to our HR services available via outsourced partner
  • Handle payroll preparation for company to be sent for further processing
  • Matching employee hours to job tracks and locations meticulously
  • Adjusting time punches thoroughly as needed
  • Submitting completed payroll records to Payroll Processing Service
  • Hand sub bill preparation for company
  • Track, monitor, manage Vehicle Body and Condition Checks
  • Track, monitor, manage attendance
Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong computer and internet skills including MS Office
  • Quick books experience required
  • Strong skills with phone, email, software in general
  • Must be efficient and strong attention to detail
  • Strong Skills in Organizing/Planning
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgement
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to head up events and meetings without supervision
